Daniel represents the Crown in prosecuting serious crime.
Daniel has conducted numerous jury and judge-alone trials involving sexual violence, class A controlled drugs, money laundering, and tax fraud. He also regularly appears for the Department of Corrections before the Parole Board in relation to offenders serving life sentences.
In addition to prosecuting serious crime, Daniel provides legal and strategic advice to a wide range of government departments and regulatory bodies, including the Department of Internal Affairs, the New Zealand Police, the Ministry of Social Development, and Inland Revenue.
