Danya comes to Luke Cunningham Clere after practicing as a federal prosecutor for over twelve years in the United States. Most recently, she served as the Chief of the National Security and International Crimes Unit of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia, where her practice included prosecuting terrorism, espionage, and other complex felony cases with an international or national security nexus. Danya’s work across her time in the U.S. Department of Justice included prosecution of violent crime, sexual offending and crimes against children, financial crime, and serious drug matters, as well as some appellate work. She conducted jury trials and litigated in federal courts across the United States.
