Maia regularly appears in the District Court on a wide range of Crown prosecutions and has also appeared in the High Court. She has assisted in regulatory prosecutions and appeared before the New Zealand Parole Board. Maia joined the firm in 2024 as a law clerk following her graduation from the University of Otago.
